Alejandra Pelaez Restrepo

Alejandra Peláez Restrepo is a seasoned marketing expert and founder of UP Advertising, a certified minority-and woman-owned agency specializing in brand development and integrated communications. With more than 23 years of industry experience, she has deep expertise in multicultural markets. Alejandra has led marketing initiatives that drive business growth while advancing community engagement.


Since founding UP Advertising in 2013, she has built a high-performing team focused on delivering results for national and international clients across diverse industries. Under her leadership, the agency has achieved consistent growth and expanded its market presence, with offices now serving clients from both Georgia and Michigan. This success has led to multiple recognitions—including MBE certification, Hispanic Agency of the Year (2020) by the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and most recently, the 2025 Women-Owned Business of the Year Award, also by GHCC.


Before launching UP Advertising, Alejandra held the position of Account Manager in the Multicultural Marketing department at The Coca-Cola Company, where she contributed to the development of campaigns tied to global and cultural platforms such as the FIFA World Cup 2014, Hispanic Heritage Month Scholarship, Día de los Muertos, and more.


Originally from Colombia, Alejandra earned her degree in Marketing from the University of Medellín. She has also completed several executive-level programs, including the U.S. Small Business Administration's Emerging Leaders Program, the Small Business Development Center's GrowSmart Program, and, in 2025, the Cultivating Hispanic Leaders Institute (CHLI), the leadership program of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
