Andrea Puebla
Andrea Puebla, originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, emigrated to Poca, a small town in West Virginia, at the age of 14. Later, she attended Marshall University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in international business and finance and her master’s degree in public administration.
In 2016, following a career opportunity for her husband, Andrea relocated to Michigan, where their two daughters were born. After becoming a mother in 2018, she stepped back from her professional career to focus on her family. During that time, she volunteered with Beaumont Hospital's first-time parents’ program and was an active member of new mothers' groups, building support networks and community.
Professionally, Andrea brings experience across a wide variety of industries and fields — from customer service in the restaurant industry, to government through her internships with the West Virginia Legislature and the International Division of the WV Development Office, to account management at CH Robinson Global Forwarder. Most recently, she has built on her nonprofit experience at Centro Multicultural La Familia, strengthening her skills in coordinating people, projects, and events. She has a strong background in project management, event planning, customer service, and account management.
Andrea is passionate about building relationships and loves working with diverse groups of people. She has traveled to China and several countries across Europe and studied abroad in France during her time at Marshall University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping throughout Michigan, playing volleyball, and exploring arts and crafts.
Andrea is excited to embark on this new chapter with the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where she looks forward to bringing her diverse skills and experience to continue serving her community by connecting people to valuable resources and helping businesses thrive.
