2016 Public Policy & Economic Forum Breakfast
The Hispanic community has made unprecedented gains in economic buying power and political power; offering key opportunities to Hispanic business owners to have their concerns reflected in policy maker agendas.
That new recognition was on display at the 2016 Public Policy & Economic Forum Breakfast as local, state and national leaders joined more than 530 attendees at the MGM Grand Hotel Detroit to share how their work may influence policy and business in Detroit, Michigan and across the nation.
In addition to City of Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Sen. Debbie Stabenow, Gov. Rick Snyder and President and CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Javier Palomarez – who all took turns at the dais – U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell and representatives from Sen. Gary Peters, Detroit City Councilperson Raquel Castaneda-Lopez were in the audience.
